ABOUT ABOUT

Due to circumstances beyond our control, this event has been cancelled.

Coworking is a revolution in working culture dedicated to openness, community, accessibility, and sustainability. It is much more than just a space or a fancy desk. It is a community of people sharing resources.

CultureWorks is made up of cultural and creative entrepreneurs including artists and people who support their work. CultureWorks takes its mission to provide shared resources to artists further. It provides shared back office support for individual artist projects and organizations such as accounting, insurances, business planning, strategy advice, fiscal sponsorship, and other services.

Thaddeus Squire will speak about the artist as entrepreneur and the potential benefits for creative entrepreneurs found in the combination of coworking space and shared services platforms. In CultureWorks’ view, artists should do what they do best and leave various aspects of administration and business management to others.

CultureWorks will offer a one Day Pass to each attendee.

Made possible through the generous support of The Knight Foundation with support of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists.
