ABOUT ABOUT

Have you ever wanted to duplicate your artwork? Prints, unlike paintings or drawings, generally exist in multiples. Printmaking is an excellent opportunity to augment your current practice by creating an edition of artwork that can multiply and diversify your current revenue stream.

Zach Lindenberger, Co-founder of Second State Press, and Heather McMordie, printmaker, will discuss integrating printmaking into your artistic practice and how to build your career in printmaking.

This discussion will be followed by a tour of Second State Press’ facilities and culminate in a hands-on demonstration of the lithography process. Invented in 1798, this process is based on the mutual antipathy of oil and water. Participants will receive a discount to Second State Press on a future event and/or workshop. More information provided at the conclusion of the lecture.

Made possible through the generous support of The Knight Foundation with support of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists.
